According to sources, the Rowdy Rathore actress Sonakshi Sinha has been charged with Rs. 37 lakhs of fraud.

Sonakshi was meant to be the Chief Guest at an event organised by a Delhi-based event planner named Pramod Sharma.

She charged Rs. 37 lakhs to be a part of the event, but she did not show up on the big day.

Sharma requested that Sonakshi’s team return the money because she was unable to attend the event in Delhi.

Her manager, according to reports, refused to refund the organiser for the money.

He apparently attempted to contact the actress several times, but his efforts were in vain, causing the organiser to file a fraud case.

Sonakshi is believed to have travelled to Moradabad once to record her statement in this case, but she then disappeared.

Due to her continuous absence, the court has issued a warrant for her arrest.

We’re curious to see how the actress will react to the whole situation.

On work front, Sonakshi was most recently seen in the Ajay Devgn-starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India.

The film also featured Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, and Ammy Virk, that premiered on OTT platform Disney+Hotsar last year.

She is now working on projects such as Kakuda and Double XL.
