Ankita Lokhande and her spouse Vicky Jain are gaining attention on the current season of Bigg Boss 17. They have been openly discussing their relationship challenges and offering support to their fellow housemates. In a recent episode, Ankita spoke about her past relationship with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. It’s worth mentioning that Ankita and Sushant first met on the set of Pavitra Rishta in 2009 and were together for six years. In a video shared on X (previously known as Twitter) by a fan page, Ankita can be seen conversing with fellow housemate Munawar Faruqui in the garden area. She expressed, “At that time, no one was with me. I went through that phase alone. Why didn’t people say that Sushant should have stayed with me? Where were they? I faced that phase alone.”
When Munawar inquired about the reason for the breakup, Ankita responded, “There was no specific reason. I was just blank. Things changed suddenly one night.” Continuing, Ankita revealed, “He [Sushant Singh Rajput] suddenly disappeared. As he was finding success, people were filling his ears. But that was his matter. I never stopped him.” She also disclosed that there were no conflicts or disagreements prior to the breakup.
Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. Following the funeral, Ankita Lokhande visited his family a day later.
Meanwhile, the producers of Bigg Boss 17 have released a preview of the “nomination special” episode, showing that “real-life couple” Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt sought retribution for the previous week’s elimination episode and nominated Vicky Jain. Aishwarya can be heard in the clip saying, “You started it Vicky [Jain] Bhaiya. I will give you tough competition.”
