Ayushmann Khurrana Encourages Maharashtra Voters for Lok Sabha Polls

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has joined the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) initiative to boost voter turnout in Maharashtra for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Khurrana, known for his appeal among the youth, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to urge young voters to participate actively in the electoral process.

In his video message, Khurrana emphasized the importance of every vote in shaping the nation’s future. “Your vote is your voice,” he said, encouraging citizens to exercise their democratic right to vote and make their voices heard. The ECI’s initiative aims to maximize voter participation and ensure citizens fulfill their duty in choosing their representatives.

Simultaneously, Khurrana announced his global record deal with Warner Music India, marking a new milestone in his musical career. His first collaboration under this deal is the song ‘Akh Da Taara.’

On the cinematic front, Khurrana was last seen in ‘Dream Girl 2,’ alongside Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, and Abhishek Banerjee, receiving positive reviews from audiences.

The Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra encompass 6 constituencies in Mumbai, including Mumbai North, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai South, and Mumbai South Central, among others. Additionally, other constituencies like Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Kalyan, Palghar, Bhiwandi, and Thane are part of the ongoing election in the fifth phase.

With Maharashtra holding 48 Lok Sabha seats, the polling for the fifth phase is scheduled for May 20, with the elections spanning seven phases from April 19 to June 1. The results are set to be declared on June 4.
