Alia Bhatt never fails in surprising people, both personally and professionally. The actress, who has recently made headlines for her private life, is getting ready to astound her fans with her upcoming dark comedy ‘Darlings’.
On Monday (25 July), the movie’s trailer was released. Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, Roshan Mathew, and Vijay Maurya all have significant roles in the film Darlings, which was directed by newcomer Jasmeet K. Reen.
Alia will step into the shoes of a producer in the film for the first time and also can seen showcasing the best of her acting skills.
Speaking from her first movie coming from her productions Eternal Sunshine, Alia in a prior statement says : “Darlings contains a very special place in my heart, it’s my first movie as a producer that too with Red Chillies. We are extremely pleased and proud of how the movie has turned out, and we hope that it will amuse and entertain audiences everywhere.”
‘Darlings,’ produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma, is set to premiere on August 5.
