Actor Dhanush K. Raja and his wife Aishwarya Rajnikanth have separated. Actor announced that he and his wife have decided to separate their ways after 18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, parents and well wishers for each other. Aishwaryaa, the eldest daughter of Megastar Rajinikanth, is a movie director and playback singer.
Announcing their breakup Dhanush tweeted, “We’ve been together for 18 years as a friend, as a couple, as a parent, and as someone who supports each other. The road has been growth, understanding, adjustment and adaptation. Today we stand still. We where the road diverges. Aishwaryaa and I decided to break up as a couple and take time to understand us better as individuals.” “Please respect our decision and provide us with the privacy we need to resolve this issue. Om Namashivaaya!”
Aishwaryaa also posted the same statement on Instagram, with the caption: “No caption needed… all your understanding and love is needed!” She signed the post as Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth.
Dhanush was last seen with Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar in movie Atrangi Re, Upcoming projects are still in pipeline.
