After the 3rd round of the counting, NDA nominee Draupadi Murmu crossed the 50% mark, securing her victory over Opposition nominee Yashwant Sinha by a massive margin.

Draupadi Murmu has received 2,161 of the 3,219 valid votes that have been counted so far, while Sinha has received 1,058.

A clear advantage over the opposition candidate, Yashwant Sinha, pertains to Draupadi Murmu of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), as per the support provided by various parties.

Draupadi Murmu would have been the first tribal woman to hold the country’s highest constitutional position.

Over 98% of the 4,796 eligible voters—including 771 MPs and 4,025 MLAs—participated in the presidential election’s voting process, which was completed on Monday.
