Ed Sheeran confirms collaboration with BTS calls them ‘super cool guys’

British Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran confirmed he has teamed up with BTS once again for the music group’s upcoming song and the news has sent fans in frenzy.

Sheeran who was promoting his latest single ‘Bad Habits’ at the American radio show said he is looking forward to their new track.

“I’ve actually worked with BTS on their last record, and I’ve just written a song for their new record. And they’re like super, super cool guys as well,” the singer said.

Big Hit Entertainment which is BTS’s agency confirmed the news but did not mention the details.

BTS has a CD version of their latest chart-topping English-language hit ‘Butter’ coming up on July9,  and their according to their label Hybe Corporation it will include a brand new track that “will make your heartbeat to the rhythm of BTS’s positive energy”.

It is, however, uncertain if the group’s new song with Sheeran will be included in the CD version of ‘Butter’. There are speculations that this collaboration can also be for some future projects, but there is no confirmation so far.

This is not for the first time that the English singer and the South Korean septet will be collaborating. They have previously worked together on ‘Make It Right’ from the BTS’s 2019 album ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’.

Meanwhile, BTS has been ruling the music charts with their latest summer hit, ‘Butter’. The song that was off to a record-smashing start spent the last 4 weeks at the number 1 spot of the Billboard Hot 100 music charts.
