Ajay Devgn will be seen sharing screen with Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bacchan. Devgn is also the director for the film titled Mayday and shared his experience of directing Big B himself!
Ajay Devgn, who has shared screen space with Bacchan, in films like Aag, Satyagraha, Khakee, Teen Patti and Major Saab, will direct the megastar for the very first time.
Recalling directing Mr. Bachchan, Devgn said, ‘He is a delight. I have never seen a more dedicated actor. We are nothing in front of him. Once he is on the set, he is ready on his mark. If you tell him to rest in his van when we are lighting up, he will say no, I am sitting here and I’ll keep rehearsing.”
“I have known him since I was a kid so I share a different rapport. I could tell him whatever I want since my childhood. So I can tell him sir, thoda kum karo or yaha pe thoda improve karna padega,” he adds.
Mayday which is reportedly a thriller will see Ajay as a pilot and Bachchan in an important role. Produced and directed by Ajay Devgn, this will be the actor’s third directorial after U Me Aur Hum and Shivaay.
When asked if it was easy to convince Bachchan to come on board to which he answers, “Yes just two minutes, he only had one narration and was on board.”
