PM Modi posted another glimpse of the occasion on his instagram where he can be seen doing puja rituals and offering aarti.

Guru Ravidas, a 15th-century mystic poet and reformer, has a massive following across the country, particularly among Dalits.
Ravidas Jayanti is widely observed in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, two states that are also holding legislative elections.
