The shoot for the John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 would have begun from April 10 onwards had it not been for the lockdown imposed for the safety of the citizens as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Satyameva Jayate 2 is being helmed by Milap Zaveri who has helmed the previous installment as well. The director opened up on not commencing shoot as it would have incurred more losses. “It’s good we had not gone on the floors because losses are much higher when shoots are halted mid-way,” the director said.
Milap Zaveri revealed that he is constantly in touch with the cast and crew working on the script adding more punches and refining the dialogues. The filmmaker opened up that he is in touch with the action directors Anbu and Arivu and is working on the action sequences that John Abraham would perform in the movie. Zaveri went on to reveal that while the first installment saw two brothers fighting corruption in their own style, this one would see John in a larger than life avatar. He said that John would have superhero qualities like that of the Hulk from Avengers series.
“In Part 2, John is almost like a superhero. He will do things he has never done before, for instance, rip a tyre or a door, like the Hulk,” Milap added. Well, this surely would be interesting to watch as we love to see John kicking asses of the bad guys in the Bollywood movies.
Meanwhile, there were Bollywood news reports of John having a triple role in the film. The director dodged the question. Earlier even John had kept mum on the same saying, “Milap is still in the process of developing certain characters and he might like me to play other roles, too. But that’s still up for a lot of discussions. So, I can’t say if there’s going to be one, two or three of me in the film,” he said.
