Raghav Juyal’s Career Soars Post ‘Kill’: Anurag Kashyap, Bejoy Nambiar Reach Out After Film’s Success

Raghav Juyal, renowned for his journey from ‘Dance India Dance’ to the silver screen, is basking in the newfound acclaim following his role in the recently released film ‘Kill’. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Juyal highlighted the significant impact of ‘Kill’ on his career trajectory, revealing that esteemed directors like Anurag Kashyap, Bejoy Nambiar, and Ramesh Turani have reached out to him directly post-release.

The actor expressed his astonishment at the overwhelming response: “After ‘Kill’, I’m receiving calls and messages from directors whom I never expected to hear from. Anurag Kashyap Sir, Bejoy Nambiar Bhai, Ramesh Turani Sir… from all over… I can’t even count the number of messages I’ve received. They’ve given genuine reviews, and it’s because of these reviews that my doors have opened. As an actor, my career has truly begun. It’s crazy.”

Juyal, known for his portrayal of the antagonist Fani in ‘Kill’, now harbors aspirations beyond villainous roles. He expressed a desire to explore romantic roles in Imtiaz Ali’s films and collaborate with visionaries like Shoojit Sircar and Mira Nair.

Asserting his proactive approach to securing roles, Juyal emphasized his readiness to audition tirelessly: “I have no qualms about asking for work. I tell them, ‘Sir, this is my work, this is what I did in ‘Kill’. Please watch the film, I’m ready to audition. Tell me ten or fifteen times, I’ll audition each time. I enjoy working.”

Reflecting on his journey, Juyal underscored the importance of seeking opportunities with confidence: “There’s nothing wrong in asking for work. I proudly say that I’m an actor and I believe I do it well. This approach has brought me here, knocking on every casting director’s door, ready to prove myself and earn my roles.”

Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, ‘Kill’ stars Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala, and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles and has garnered praise for its narrative and performances.
