Richa Chadha dedicated a special Instagram post to her boyfriend, Ali Fazal ahead of the release of his Netflix anthology Ray, which is all set to premiere on June 25.
Richa shared a clip from the trailer of Ray on Instagram and wrote a poem in her caption “#Ray So proud of bae. You can see him next in RAY. Be it Guddu or Abdul his range is beautiful. (This poem may be lame), but Ali Fazal has really upped his game.” she wrote.
Ali and Richa are one of the most adorable couples in Bollywood. The couple met on the sets of Fukrey and became friends. And slowly the friendship turned into love. They have been together for over five years now.
The couple got engaged in 2020. They were supposed to get married last year but their wedding was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the situation is slowly getting better in India, fans are eagerly waiting to know when they are tying the knot.
Richa recently spilt the beans on her wedding plans with Ali and also revealed why they’ve decided to wait till then. The actress said, ‘It’s a situation of responsibility. It’ll be our family members there, all our people only, so we have to be responsible… we definitely don’t want to be having a super-spreader event in our own marriage.’
She added, ‘We want people to enjoy, if we do something, then people should be able to hug you.. meet.. so that’s why we’ve just held out on doing something big. Hopefully… end of this year.. hopefully, if things are better, if there are less casualties during the third wave.’
