Ever since Ekta Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut disclosed their show Lock Upp, reports of contentious contestants have been doing the rounds.
As per reports, Bigg Boss 13 finalist and Punjabi actress Shehnaaz Gill is also believed to appear on the show.
Shehnaaz have become a household name with BB 13. Entitled as Punjab Ki Katrina Kaif, Shehnaaz has won many hearts during Salman Khan’s reality show.
It looks like Shehnaaz could recreate her magic for the OTT space with Lock Upp as well.
As per the latest reports, the makers are now planning to add a few politicians to the show. This will make the show pungent and controversial
Apparently, Shehnaaz Gill’s Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant Tehseen Poonawalla is being considered for the show.
Poonawalla is a political and election analyst who never crumble his words and he is quite active on social media too.
A close source to the show told the portal, “They want political analysts, since we know that such personalities have had the gift of gab and can be fiery.”
Ekta Kapoor can be deemed on to think outside the box.”
Previously, a source told BollywoodLife that Shehnaaz was approached for a position in the show and she had signed the dotted lines.
“Shehnaaz Gill was approached on being a part of Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp, and she agreed.
Shehnaaz is currently going through a very difficult period in her life, and she has expressed her desire to be away from the media spotlight and the rest of the world for a while, but this is the best opportunity for her.
Also, Shehnaaz has won loads of hearts and she will be one of the strongest contestants in the house and will definitely get some special power to be in the Lock Upp,” the source claimed.
