Bhopal: Shweta Tiwari has been in trouble after her recent remark, referring to God while talking of her underwear.
Shweta Tiwari was speaking at a press conference in Bhopal on Wednesday as part of a promotional event for her upcoming web series ‘Show Stopper’.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra ordered police to investigate her remark and file a complaint within 24 hours. Talking about the actress’ statement, Mishra told reporters on Thursday: “I’ve heard it and strongly condemn it.
I have ordered the Bhopal Police Commissioner to investigate and file a report within 24 hours. In due course, we will see what actions can be taken in this regard”.
A video of Shweta’s statement has gone viral on social media, in which she is said to be referring to God while talking about her underwear.
Shweta said, “Mere bra ka size bhagwan le rahe hai (God is measuring my bra size)”.
Show Stopper is a fashion show starring Sourabh Raaj Jain as a “bra fitter”. Sourabh is best known for playing the role of Lord Krishna in the mythological show Mahabharat.
It is believed that Shweta spoke in reference to the famous character Sourabh. The series also stars actors Rohit Roy and Digangana Suryavanshi.
