Anjum shot 402.9 in the final round to finish third, trailing gold medalists Germany’s Anna Janssen [407.7] and Italy’s Barbara Gambaro [403.4].
The men’s 3P team event saw Sanjeev Rajput, Chain Singh, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar take home the silver medal.
The Indian trio faced a formidable Czech Republic squad in the gold medal game after placing second in the qualifying round.
However, despite their valiant efforts, Filip Nepejchal, Petr Nymbursky, and Jiri Privratsky’s team defeated the Indians 12-16. Anjum able to qualify for the finals upon finishing sixth in the scoring round.
The 28-year-old shooter has now won two individual World Cup medals in a row. At the Baku World Cup held last month, she took home silver in the same competition.
