There has been a lot of buzz since the news about Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani’s separation took over the internet.
According to a recent media story, the stars called it quits after a six-year relationship. As per the story, Tiger and Disha split up earlier this year. Meanwhile, neither Tiger nor Disha have responded the rumours of their separation.
However, legendary actor Jackie Shroff, who is also the actor’s father, has now responded to the rumours that Tiger and Disha have broken up.
Tiger and Disha’s breakup rumours were neither confirmed nor denied by Jackie Shroff in an interview with The Times Of India. Rather, he mentioned that he had seen the two actors out together and that they were still close friends.
“I have seen each other go out together. Not really that I keep records of my son’s dating life [laughs]. That is the last thing I would like to do, like trample into their privacy. However, I believe that they are close friends. In addition to work, they spend time together” he stated.
The veteran actor further clarified, “See, it is up to them if they are together or apart, if they are suitable (with each other) or not. It is their love story, just as mine and my wife Ayesha’s is. Disha and I have a great equation. Like I previously mentioned, they are happy together and often socialise.”
On the work front, Tiger Shroff will star alongside Kriti Sanon in Ganapath. The actor has also revealed that Shashank Khaitan will helm his upcoming movie, Screw Dheela. Disha Patani, on the other hand, is getting ready for the arrival of Ek Villain Returns. It releases on July 29, 2022, in theatres.
