Actor R Madhavan is ‘overwhelmed & humbled’ after his son Vedaant Madhavan won the Danish Open swimming meet in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He posted a video on Instagram as Vedaant was declared winner. Vedaant won the 800m men’s freestyle swimming event with a time of 8:17:28. Vedaant had previously won a silver medal in a different category at the same meet.
In the video, Vedaant can be seen interacting with silver medalist Alexander L Bjorn and bronze medalist Frederik Lindholm. After receiving the medal, he bowed his head & folded his hands.
Sharing the video R Madhavan captioned the post: “And So TODAY the winning streak continues.. @VedaantMadhavan gets a GOLD at Denmark open, (folded hand emojis and red heart emojis) Pradeep Sir @swimmingfedera1 #ANSAdxb & all of you for the continued blessings.”
Recently bollywood actress Preity Zinta congratulated actor and his wife of their son’s big achievement. Taking to twitter Preity wrote: “Wow ! This is such great news. Congrats @ActorMadhavan & Sarita. I’m delighted & so happy to see Vedaant shine like this (Indian flag and read heart emoji) God bless him with more success, happiness, love & light always. Both of you have done a fantastic job with him. Bravo (clapping emoji).”
Days before Preity Zinta’s congratulatory post, bollywood and hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra too wished the kid on his success. R Madhavan reacted to Priyanka’s post and wrote.
