As the cinematic clash between Prabhas-starrer Salaar: Cease Fire – Part 1 and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki looms on the horizon, the advance booking battle reveals an interesting competition. Scheduled for release on December 22, Salaar has garnered an impressive Rs 3.58 crore through advance bookings, selling over 150,000 tickets, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Breaking down the numbers, Salaar witnessed a substantial 84,000 tickets sold in the Telugu-speaking region, followed by over 42,000 tickets in the Malayalam-speaking areas. In the Hindi-speaking region, the advance bookings crossed the 18,000 mark, showcasing the film’s pan-Indian appeal.

Despite Salaar’s strong showing, it faces a formidable opponent in Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, set to hit screens on December 21. The advance booking figures tell a compelling story, with Dunki taking the lead at Rs 4.46 crore in advance bookings. Both films initiated their advance bookings on December 15.

Shah Rukh Khan’s recent successes with Jawan and Pathaan contribute to Dunki’s competitive edge, making it a strong contender against Prabhas’s Salaar. The battle at the box office promises to be intense, with fans eagerly awaiting the release of these highly anticipated films and the ensuing showdown between two powerhouse actors.
