The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded the upcoming film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” a U/A rating, following scrutiny by the Examining Committee. However, before receiving the certification, the makers were required to implement certain alterations to the film.
In compliance with the CBFC’s directives, 14 seconds of visuals were blurred across three different scenes, while a particular scene lasting approximately 19 seconds (equivalent to a 25% reduction) was trimmed around the 57-minute mark. The nature of these scenes, whether containing violence or intimacy, remains undisclosed. Additionally, a brand name featured in one scene was replaced, albeit without elaboration on the specifics. Furthermore, a disclaimer pertaining to liquor consumption was inserted into a relevant scene.
Furthermore, the film’s creators were mandated to furnish a letter to the CBFC, providing clarification regarding the utilization of symbols, signs, uniform codes, and other elements associated with the Armed Forces.
Following the implementation of these adjustments, the censor certificate was issued to the makers of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” As per the certificate, the film has a runtime of 164 minutes, equating to 2 hours and 44 minutes. The eagerly awaited movie is slated for release on Wednesday, April 10th.
