The latest installment of the beloved Bollywood franchise, “Jolly LLB,” finds itself embroiled in legal turmoil as production for “Jolly LLB 3” progresses in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in leading roles under the direction of Subhash Kapoor, the film has encountered opposition from legal quarters.
Reports indicate that a legal case has been filed against the movie, alleging that it tarnishes the integrity of the judiciary. Chandrabhan, President of the District Bar Association, has lodged a formal complaint against the film’s actors, director, and producer. The case is set for a hearing today, with Chandrabhan also urging a halt to the film’s shoot, citing concerns over the perceived mockery of the judicial system evident in the previous installments.
Expressing his apprehensions, Chandrabhan Singh Rath emphasized that the first two parts of “Jolly LLB” appeared to exhibit a lack of regard for the country’s judiciary. He highlighted the ongoing shooting of “Jolly LLB 3” in various locations across Ajmer, including the district magistrate’s office, as further disrespect toward the judiciary and its members.
