Having amassed a staggering Rs 289 crore in its debut week, “Animal” continued its triumphant march, raking in an impressive range of Rs 21.50 to 23.50 crore on its second Friday. This brings the film’s total collection to a remarkable Rs 311 crore, entering the elite Rs 300 crore club in just eight days – an achievement that ranks it as the third fastest, alongside cinematic giants Jawan and Pathaan, and in a tie with Gadar 2.

The second Friday proved historic for “Animal,” establishing a new benchmark as the biggest second Friday collection in Hindi cinema history. Surpassing the previous record holder, Gadar 2, which secured around Rs 19.50 crore, “Animal” hit an all-time high of Rs 22.50 crore. The film’s consistent performance in the same range as Thursday, with select multiplexes witnessing a nominal jump due to ticket price hikes, showcases its unwavering popularity.

As of 4:30 PM, PVR Inox reported a noteworthy Rs 6.00 crore nett, a significant portion of the full-day total of Rs 9.10 crore on Thursday. With momentum building, “Animal” is poised to break records once again, eyeing the title of the biggest second weekend of all time – currently held by Gadar 2 at Rs 89 crore.

The film’s unprecedented success on the second Friday positions it as the first-ever feature film to cross the Rs 20 crore mark on this day, outshining previous contenders like Bahubali 2 and Gadar 2, which fell slightly short.
