Salman Khan has officially announced that Arijit Singh will be lending his voice for the upcoming film Tiger 3, unveiling a glimpse of the movie’s debut song ‘Leke Prabhu Ka Naam’, featuring himself and Katrina Kaif. The song is set to be released on October 23.
In a recent post, Salman shared a preview of ‘Leke Prabhu Ka Naam’, expressing his excitement about Arijit Singh’s first song for him, with the movie slated for a Diwali release on November 12 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The collaboration between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh comes as a surprise to their fans, following a well-publicized altercation at an award function back in 2014, resulting in Arijit’s songs being removed from Salman’s films such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kick, and Sultan.
Arijit Singh publicly apologized to Salman in 2016, emphasizing that he had attempted to reconcile with the actor multiple times, seeking to maintain his version of a song in Sultan. He clarified that his previous actions were not meant to insult Salman and expressed his desire to preserve at least one of Salman’s songs in his musical library.
