In an exciting development for Bollywood fans, Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming movie ‘Dunki,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, is set to grace the big screens on December 21, 2023, sharing its release date with Prashanth Neel’s highly-anticipated ‘Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire’ featuring Prabhas. Following the recent teaser release of ‘Dunki,’ Shah Rukh Khan has treated fans to two new striking posters from the film.
The first poster showcases Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, all impeccably dressed and carrying files, hinting at a significant interview scene. The second poster shifts the focus to this group navigating challenging terrain in a remote area. While fatigue appears to affect the rest of the group, Shah Rukh Khan’s character, Hardy, stands resilient, seeking a path out of the desolation. Taapsee’s character maintains her composure, sharing a smile with SRK in the face of physical strain.
Sharing these captivating posters on social media, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Hum bilkul usi tarah dikh rahe hain jaise Raju sir ne apne ‘Ullu ke patthon’ ko imagine kiya tha… Inke baare mein bahot kuch share karna abhi baaki hai…” (We look exactly the way Raju sir (Rajkumar Hirani) had imagined his ‘Ullu ke patthon’ to be. ‘Dunki’ is centered around the intriguing concept of ‘Donkey Flight,’ an illicit method of gaining backdoor entry into countries like the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States of America. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan portrays Hardy, a man determined to relocate to London with his companions. Produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment and Jio Studios banner, ‘Dunki’ boasts a talented team of writers including Rajkumar Hirani, Abhijat Joshi, and Kanika Dhillon.
