The actor, also known as Annapurna, was discovered deceased in her Bhagalpur, Bihar apartment on April 27, leaving behind a cryptic message on WhatsApp that has since gone viral.
Authorities from the Jogsar police station are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Amrita’s untimely passing. The scene of the incident was meticulously examined by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), uncovering significant evidence including a saree noose, her mobile phone, and other pertinent items.
Amrita Pandey’s professional portfolio spans across various mediums including films, television shows, web series, and advertisements, both in the Bhojpuri and Hindi entertainment industries. However, her promising career trajectory was abruptly cut short by this tragic event.
Prior to her demise, Amrita shared a cryptic message on her WhatsApp status, hinting at the complexities of her inner struggles: “Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya” (“His/her life was riding on two boats, the path was made easier by sinking the boat”).
The police were alerted to the incident on the evening of April 27, prompting immediate response from law enforcement officials. Despite efforts to intervene, Amrita’s life could not be saved, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital.
