In a recent report, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly considering naming Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid as the head of the team for the upcoming Australia series. This potential decision comes on the heels of a remarkable performance by Dravid’s Team India in the ICC World Cup 2023, where they have won all of their first five matches, positioning themselves as strong contenders to secure a spot in the tournament’s later stages.
Under Dravid’s guidance, the likes of Rohit Sharma and the Indian cricket team have demonstrated their prowess by defeating formidable opponents such as Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand during the round-robin stage of the ICC World Cup hosted in India.
