Jee Le Zaraa Announcement Teaser On 'How's The Hype?': Blockbuster Or Lacklustre? Vote Now

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas happily announced in front of the world on Friday, January 21; that they’ve welcomed a baby in the world.

The announcement however appears to have given certain media outlets to swoop in and claim that Priyanka Chopra who is starring in one of her most anticipated upcoming films, Jee Le Zara starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif was cut out of it.

A report in Bollywood Hungama claims that producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are exploring the idea of replacing PeeCee in the film,

all due to the fact that she is on the verge of becoming a mother. However, there seems to be no truth in these reports.

According to a report in BollywoodLife, the idea to replace Priyanka Chopra did not leave the Ji Le Zara team’s mind. The source reiterates that it is 2022 and such outdated thinking is a thing of the past.

First, if Priyanka chooses a surrogate, she won’t run into pregnancy problems like she’d obviously expect, and Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Sidhwani are too progressive to think that

motherhood should be a hindrance for actresses or women in this regard, pursuing his career.

In fact, one source added that the PC’s star powers combined with the powers of

Katrina Kaif and Alia Bart make the film’s assets, and the creators are well aware of this.

Coming to Jee Le Zara, Priyanka Chopra had earlier stated that she had been wanting to do a Hindi movie after The Sky Is Pink,

however, she wanted to do something she had never done before and hence, the idea of an all female cast film,

helmed by a female director was born. Interestingly, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar were working on an all female road trip film and things fell in places.
