In the midst of the ongoing reality show, Bigg Boss 17, contestant Isha Malviya’s relationships have taken center stage. Her equation with her boyfriend, Samarth Jurel, and her ex-flame, Abhishek Kumar, seems to be quite intricate. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, her Udaariyaan co-actor, Lokesh Batta, revealed a candid conversation he had with Isha’s parents, shedding light on their discontent with her performance on the reality show.
Abhishek Kumar, in previous episodes of Bigg Boss 17, shared with Vicky Jain that Isha had been romantically involved with someone else from their show, Udaariyaan. This revelation added a layer of complexity to the ongoing drama within the Bigg Boss house.
Lokesh Batta, when contacted by Pinkvilla, opened up about his close bond with Isha. He clarified that while they were indeed very close, they were never romantically involved. “Well, we were very close. We used to go to the sets together. I used to go to her house and had a good bond with her mother too, but we were not dating,” Lokesh explained. He continued by revealing that Abhishek was insecure about their friendship and had asked him to stay away from Isha. Unfortunately, Lokesh’s track on the show concluded, and he returned to Mumbai. Soon after, Isha and Abhishek entered into a relationship.
Lokesh went on to recount an incident from last year when Isha expressed her eagerness to be a part of a reality show, following the participation of other Udaariyaan actors in a previous season. He recalled advising Isha’s mother not to allow her to participate, as it could potentially impact her image. Recently, Isha’s mother reached out to Lokesh, recalling his words and expressing her disappointment with her daughter’s performance on the show. Both of Isha’s parents, including her father, who works in a government firm, are reportedly upset with her involvement in the show.
Furthermore, it was revealed that Isha’s mother was unaware of her relationship with Samarth Jurel, despite Samarth’s claims of being in touch with her. Lokesh claimed that Isha’s parents are so dissatisfied with the show that they want her to leave it. However, contractual obligations seem to be binding them.
In a recent episode, the physical closeness between Samarth and Isha on the show has added to her parents’ distress. They find it challenging to watch the show, especially after Samarth’s entry. The drama in Bigg Boss 17 continues to unfold, with Isha’s relationships and her family’s concerns taking center stage.
