In a crucial development in the investigation into the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence, the Mumbai Police’s crime branch has uncovered two pistols and 13 bullets from the depths of the Tapi River. The discovery marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing operation aimed at recovering firearms believed to be linked to the incident.
Led by a dedicated team comprising 12 officials, including the renowned senior police inspector Daya Nayak, famously known as the “encounter specialist,” the search efforts at the site have been relentless. The team has been bolstered by the assistance of scuba divers, further enhancing the effectiveness of the operation.
The arrest of two suspects, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), in connection with the firing incident outside Galaxy Apartment on April 14, added momentum to the investigation. The duo, who allegedly fled the scene on a motorcycle, were apprehended on April 16 in Mata No Madh near Bhuj town, Gujarat. The joint efforts of the Mumbai and Kutch police teams led to their capture, facilitating a crucial breakthrough in the case.
