The former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech welcomed their first child, a boy, on Tuesday. The couple took to social media to share the good news.
“To all our fans, family and friends, We are elated to share that God has blessed us with a baby boy.
We thank God for this blessing and wish you to respect our privacy as we welcome the little one into the world,” couple wrote in identical messages posted on Twitter and Instagram
The baby is the newest entrant to the club of cricketing toddlers.
The couple got married in 2006, this is their first child.
Yuvraj Singh made his international debut in an ODI match against Kenya in October 2000,
and went on to play 304 ODIs, 40 Tests and 58 T20Is for India. He was part of India’s 2007 T20I World Cup winning campaign and 2011 ODI World Cup winning campaign.
He announced his retirement from all international cricket formats on 10 June 2019,
after serving cricket Indian for 19 long years.
