Hrithik’s fanatical Bengali fans have always been astonished by both his on-screen appeal and his down-to-earth demeanour free of any celebrity outbursts. Naturally, there is also the unique Bengali link!
Therefore, when the phrase “Boycott Vikram Vedha” became popular, his Bengali followers were unaffected. They responded to the boycott movement against his impending movie by pleading with people not to pay too much attention to such juvenile requests.

Hrithik revealed that he is a major fan of Rosogolla when he visited Kolkata a few years ago to promote his movie. It’s interesting to note that Hrithik made his first public appearance in Kolkata in 2000. because that was where his dida, or grandmother, wanted him to debut on stage. After all, he is of Bengali descent.
