Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan will be directing the upcoming film, Kuttey. The motion poster of the film was released by the makers on 23 August. The film has an interesting ensemble cast starring Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan, and Shardul Bhardwaj.
The poster which was unvieled by the team was features the primary cast without revealing their look as all the actors are shown with human body and dog heads.
During an interview actress Konkona Sen Sharma was quoted saying, “The poster is so cool and since its release, it has got so much love and appreciation. It’s too early to tell you anything about the film. Ashman Bharadwaj has written a fantastic script. It’s a super cool, complicated, interesting kind of a script and I really have a small role in it. just like a cameo.”
Even though Konkana has a small part in the film what got her excited for the film was just the mere presence of the beautiful Tabu. She says, “I am very excited to be in the same frame as Tabu. She is one of my favorite actresses in the world. We haven’t started shooting the film yet so there is not much detail to share. As her what genre does the film fall to which she says, “I think it’s a dark comedy but I could be wrong,” she jokes.
Speaking about her other projects Konkona revealed, “I have just completed the shoot for a film that my mother Aparna Sen has directed. It’s a very hard-hitting film on rape called The Rapist. It has Arjun Rampal, me and a wonderful actor called Tanmay Dhanania. That will come out next.”
