According to Sherpa Amitabh Kant, the virtual gathering is anticipated to draw a similar roster of global leaders as witnessed during the in-person meeting at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on September 9-10.

The upcoming meeting aims to propel the unanimous implementation of the Delhi Declaration, which received collective approval from all members during the 18th G20 leaders’ summit in New Delhi in September. Kant underscored the declaration’s demonstration of G20 leaders’ commitment to addressing global challenges ambitiously, inclusively, decisively, and with a focus on actionable outcomes.
