Veteran actress Neena Gupta has won praises for essaying many critically acclaimed roles onscreen. The actress is now also an author of her recently published autobiography titled Sach Kahun Toh’.
Neena recently paid a visit to legendary lyricist Gulzar at his residence to present her book to him. However she was severely trolled on social media as netizens tried to lecture her over her choice of clothes.
Actress went to visit Gulzar wearing floral co-ord shorts set with white shoes and sunglasses. Sharing a video of her visit on her Instagram account she wrote “So happy and nervous ki unhe kaise lagegi (how would he like it?)”
But the netizens were quick to comment on her attire while reminding her of Gulzar’s as well as her age.
Opening about the incidence Neena Gupta responded with a befitting reply and asked if she should even bother about 2 to 4 people criticising her look. She said “I fail to understand when anybody writes that I have been trolled for this. It’s plain rubbish. What’s the definition of ‘trolling’? Doesn’t it mean that several people are criticising you? Look at the amount of praises I’ve received. Should I really even bother about just 2 or 4 people?” When asked if she would like to say anything to her critics, Gupta said, “why? Why should I give any importance to 2 to 4 people when they comprise of just a scanty per cent which is in contrast to those who’ve loved me for this?”
