Salman Khan, the Bollywood icon and millionaire, made headlines at the premiere of niece Alizeh Agnihotri’s debut film, ‘Farrey,’ not for his stardom but for an unexpected wardrobe choice — a pair of noticeably worn-out black leather shoes. Initially arriving in pristine new shoes, a picture from the event circulated on social media showcasing Salman in the tattered footwear.
The image captured Salman seated with Tiger-3 co-star Katrina Kaif and another companion on a bench, dressed in a black polo shirt and crisp black pants, juxtaposed with visibly distressed shoes. Leather chips off from the front, and a conspicuous hole is evident on one of them.
While the reason behind this unexpected sartorial twist remains unknown, fans on social media swiftly reacted, sharing humorous comments. One Instagram user quipped, “Be so rich in life that when you wear torn outfits, people call you simple and not poor.” Another humorously speculated, “That is his style. That same shoe will sell for ₹20,000 at Being Human.”
Adding to the intrigue, it seems Salman may have switched shoes during the screening. Red carpet arrivals captured him in seemingly new shoes, raising questions about the sudden change.
