The 92nd Academy Awards ceremony was organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) on February 9, 2020. The show honored the best films of 2019 and took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. During the ceremony, AMPAS presented Academy Awards (commonly referred to as Oscars) in 24 categories. The ceremony was televised in the United States by ABC.
The South Korean film Parasite led the ceremony with four awards, including Best Picture, becoming the first film not in the English language to do so. The British war film 1917 won three awards, while Ford v Ferrari, Joker, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood won two awards each.
