Indian Police Ko Salaam’: Prime Video Honors the Real-Life Heroes at Prestigious National Police Memorial Ahead of the Premiere of Indian Police Force

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Ahead of the global premiere of the highly anticipated Amazon Original series Indian Police Force, Prime Video and Rohit Shetty Picturez honored the Delhi Police Officers at a special evening ‘Indian Police Ko Salaam’ in the capital city celebrating 75 years of Indian Police Service. The esteemed event was held at the historic National Police Memorial in the august presence of Shri. Sanjay Arora, Police Commissioner of Delhi and Smt. Ritu Arora, President Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS), Delhi who served as the chief guests. The cast - Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Vivek Oberoi, creator Rohit Shetty, Amazon team - Sushant Sreeram, Country Director Prime Video, India, Aparna Purohit, Head of Originals, India and Southeast Asia, Prime Video paid homage to the courage, selfless service, unwavering commitment, and fierce patriotism of the Police officers. 



The special event commenced with an enchanting musical performance by the Delhi Police Band on patriotic song Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo captivating the audience. The audience also witnessed a magical sand act by renowned sand artist Rahul Arya vividly portraying various facets of the Delhi Police Force’s duties, dynamically capturing moments of bravery, solidarity, and compassion in their daily service. The cast and creator also engaged in an insightful interaction with the Delhi police officers.

Prime Video and Indian Police Force team also felicitated the incredible police officers who work tirelessly to keep the nation safe. The bravehearts were honored under three categories: Bahaduri Awards- For officers who have displayed exemplary courage and fearless commitment to Public Safety, Non-Policing Heroes Award- For recognising outstanding contributions beyond the call of duty Martyrs Award- In the Grateful Remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. The event not only served as a tribute to the real-life heroes in Khakee Wardi but also heightened the anticipation for the premiere of the Indian Police Force.

Created by Rohit Shetty and directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash, the series features Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles along with Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Lalit Parimoo in pivotal roles.
