In a significant political development, Mohan Yadav, 58, officially took the oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The swearing-in ceremony, held in Bhopal, witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Accompanying Yadav were Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla, who were sworn in as deputy chief ministers.
Prior to the ceremony, Yadav embarked on a visit to a temple in Bhopal, underlining his spiritual connection. Additionally, he paid homage to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya at the state BJP office, honoring the legacy of the founding member of the Jana Sangh, along with BJP’s foundational ideologue, Syama Prasad Mookerjee.
