Despite an auspicious commencement on January 25, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s Fighter struggled to breach the Rs 150-crore threshold in its inaugural week at the box office, as indicated by data-tracking platforms.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the aerial action thriller achieved the commendable feat of crossing the Rs 100-crore mark within its initial four days in theaters. However, the movie faced a downturn in collections during the latter part of the week. The film secured Rs 8 crore nett on Monday, followed by Rs 7.5 crore nett on Tuesday and Rs 6.5 crore nett on Wednesday. According to data from Sacnilk, Fighter’s earnings dwindled to Rs 5.75 crore nett on its eighth day of release.
While the film witnessed a promising start, the declining collections in the latter half of the week have prevented Fighter from reaching the coveted Rs 150-crore milestone within its debut week. The performance of the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-starrer will undoubtedly continue to be scrutinized in the coming weeks as it navigates the competitive landscape of the box office.
