In preparation for the debut of the new movie, “Dobaaraa,” Taapsee Pannu openly admitted. She said before making the move to Bollywood, she had only seen “Dev D” and “Gangs of Wasseypur” since she wasn’t a fan of Anurag Kashyap’s work.
Taapsee recently said in an interview with a news website that she told Anurag, that she wanted to be a celebrity. The actress also remembered their argument during Dobaaraa’s edit, during which the director advised her to go work with Rohit Shetty if she wanted to be a celebrity.
Taapsee, however, asserts that not everyone has the same recipe. And that she wants to pursue a different path to fame. She claims that she is an actor who aspires to stardom. Taapsee has done all within her power to achieve that goal. She is not the movie’s producer or director, though. The end result is collaboration. According to Taapsee, if she were already a star, she would have drawn audiences no matter how the movie performed. WHAT A CONFIDENCE.
