On Thursday, 9th June night, Vikram Brar, a close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was identified as the person who had sent threatening letter to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as well as his father, film writer Salim Khan, reports police officials.

Shortly after the official statement, Times Now made a shocking revelation, alleging that the Bollywood superstar was targeted for assassination and that a sharpshooter was planted outside his home.

According to the report, Lawrence Bishnoi, an accused in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, dispatched a sharpshooter to kill Salman Khan with a small-bore weapon concealed in a modified hockey casing.

The gangster and his men were allegedly tracking the actor’s movements, and the sharpshooter was fully cognizant that the actor cycles around the neighbourhood alone without company of a bodyguard, according to the report.

The plot to assassinate Salman was allegedly put in motion while he was about to leave his home for an event.

The shooter, who was reportedly planted outside the actor’s home, backed out at last minute, fearing being caught, as a result of the increased police presence in the area.

Brar, who is presently said to be aboard, is found to be involved in more than two dozen criminal cases across several states.
