Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas who will be seen in The Matrix: Resurrections alongside Keanu Reeves recently opened up about the film in a recent interview with Vogue India.
“I would have done any part Lana Wachowski would have given me. I’d be happy to do a walk-on. It was amazing just being there. I used to arrive on set sometimes when Carrie-Anne Moss or Neil Patrick Harris were filming and I’d sort of peek in and have a fangirl moment,” Priyanka said about Matrix.
The actress also got candid about shooting during COVID-19 and said she was nervous to return to work. “I spent six months at home feeling really safe with my family, and then Germany was the first time I left to go work. I cried on the plane. I was terrified,” Chopra said.
However, her husband and singer Nick Jonas helped her “He, my mum, my family came with me and we spent Christmas and New Year’s together while I was filming. It was really nice to not have to come back to an empty home. Nick wanted to help me settle in,” the superstar concluded.
The Matrix: Resurrections will see Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles. Neil Patrick Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Priyanka Chopra have pivotal roles in the movie. The film is scheduled to release on December 2022.
