In an unfortunate incident on Monday, a dispute over property in Panchsheel Vihar, Malviya Nagar, south Delhi, resulted in three individuals sustaining injuries. Tragically, a man attempting to mediate and calm the situation lost his life, with the police suspecting cardiac arrest as the cause.
The altercation arose from a disagreement over the distribution of property among the children of Ismat Ali, who had two wives, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Chowdhary. Akki, riding a scooter, intervened in an attempt to reconcile the conflicting parties. However, amidst the scuffle, three individuals suffered injuries, and Akki suddenly collapsed.
Upon initial investigation, it was observed that there were no visible injury marks on Akki’s body attributable to the altercation. The prevailing suspicion is that his demise may be linked to cardiac arrest. The precise cause of death awaits confirmation pending the post-mortem report, as stated by the DCP.
