In a cinematic showdown at the box office, Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ faced a formidable opponent in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan,’ and the results are in. Despite creating a buzz and amassing a remarkable 314.50 crore in six days, ‘Animal’ fell short of surpassing the first-week gross of ‘Jawan,’ which stands at a staggering 369.43 crore.

The initial excitement surrounding ‘Animal’ saw it kick off with a roaring box office opening of 63.80 crores on day 1, with viewers anticipating a head-to-head competition with Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic status in ‘Jawan.’ Ranbir Kapoor’s performance was touted to potentially overshadow the box office numbers of ‘Jawan,’ but the latest figures indicate a different outcome.

As per the advance booking report for the seventh day and the collections for the sixth day, it is projected that Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s gangster drama, ‘Animal,’ will rake in around 25 crores. This would bring the film’s week-one total to approximately 339-340 crores, an impressive figure but not enough to dethrone the supremacy of ‘Jawan.’
