Royal Enfield has introduced the Shotgun 650 to the Indian motorcycle market, expanding its 650cc range with a captivating bobber-style addition. Priced at Rs 3.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), the Shotgun 650 joins the esteemed lineup that includes the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor 650.
Designed for riders seeking a distinctive experience, the Shotgun 650 boasts a flat handlebar and mid-set footpegs, ensuring an upright riding position. With a seat height set at 795 mm, the motorcycle promises comfort alongside its powerful performance.
Under the hood, the Shotgun 650 is equipped with the same 648cc parallel-twin engine found in the Super Meteor 650, delivering an impressive 47 BHP and 52.3 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a responsive 6-speed gearbox, promising a thrilling ride for enthusiasts.
In terms of suspension, the Shotgun 650 features an upside-down front fork and twin shock absorbers at the rear, contributing to its agile and responsive handling. The motorcycle rides on alloy wheels with an 18-inch rim at the front and a 17-inch rim at the rear.
