New Delhi’s Health Minister, Saurabh Bharadwaj, took a proactive step to evaluate the efficacy of healthcare services implemented by the Delhi government. In an unexpected move, Bharadwaj carried out surprise inspections at two prominent hospitals in the national capital, as revealed in an official statement on Tuesday.

The Office of the Health Minister Government of NCT in Delhi disclosed that Bharadwaj visited Hedgewar Hospital near Karkardooma Court and Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in the Trilokpuri area of Delhi during the surprise inspections.

During the unannounced visits, Minister Bharadwaj provided clear directives to the hospital administration, emphasizing that no preferential treatment, often referred to as VIP treatment, should be extended to individuals under the guise of staff. This move underscores the minister’s commitment to ensuring equality and fairness in healthcare services.
