A potentially disastrous situation was averted on Monday afternoon as a fire broke out at the Kinsfolk Hotel & Banquet Hall in Ghaziabad’s Sector-3, Vasundhara. With over 60 individuals present at the venue, a prompt response from the fire department ensured that everyone was safely rescued.
Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Rahul Pal received information about the fire around 2:10 pm, prompting the dispatch of four fire tenders—three from Vaishali and one from Sahibabad—to address the emergency.
In a stroke of good fortune, two fire officers happened to be nearby and reached the scene before the fire tenders. Utilizing fire equipment from SG Homes and the banquet hall itself, they worked efficiently to combat the flames, preventing any injuries or casualties.
The incident underscores the importance of quick and coordinated responses in emergency situations, with the fire department’s timely intervention playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all individuals present at the banquet hall.
