In a devastating turn of events on the Ghaziabad highway, a 15-year-old boy, identified as Mohammed Issa alias Niral, lost his life as the canter truck he was in collided with a stationary bus. Issa, a resident of Bihar, was serving as a cleaner on the ill-fated truck driven by his elder brother.

The incident unfolded at approximately 5 am in the jurisdiction of the Wave City police station. Preliminary investigations conducted by the authorities reveal that the parked bus, immobilized due to a tire burst, played a pivotal role in the tragic accident. Shockingly, the bus lacked essential safety measures, such as reflective tape or cones, and its parking lights were not activated.

Ramanand Kushwaha, Additional DCP (Traffic) in Ghaziabad, emphasized, “The primary cause of the collision stems from the bus being parked without the necessary reflective markers or cones, compounded by the absence of its parking lights.” The absence of these safety precautions likely contributed to the unfortunate outcome, underscoring the critical need for responsible parking practices on busy highways.

As the community grapples with the loss of young Issa, this incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of adhering to safety protocols to avert such heartbreaking accidents on our roadways. Authorities are urging heightened awareness and compliance with safety measures to prevent further tragedies of this nature.
