In an official statement shared on social media, Manikarnika Films expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received for Kangana and assured fans of updating them soon with a new release date for “Emergency.”

Initially slated for release on June 14, the film’s premiere date has been subject to several shifts. Kangana herself had previously announced the release date following her attendance at the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya earlier this year. Directed and written by Kangana, “Emergency” boasts a stellar cast including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik.

The film delves into the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with Kangana essaying the titular role. Despite the delay in its release, anticipation remains high for Kangana’s portrayal of the iconic political figure.

While “Emergency” awaits its new release date, Kangana Ranaut remains engrossed in her election campaigning activities. Having filed her nomination for the Lok Sabha elections recently, Kangana expressed her pride in contesting from the Mandi constituency and her determination to succeed in the realm of politics, echoing her triumphs in Bollywood.
