Team India skipper and batting maestro Virat Kohli has added another feather to his cap of records. In the ongoing ICC World Test Championship final which is being held at The Rose Bowl, Southampton, Kohli surpassed his predecessor and legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni by leading India in his record 61st appearance as captain.
Virat has managed to break Dhoni’s record of most Tests as captain of the Indian cricket team. Kohli was appointed as the captain of the Team India after Dhoni called time on his wonderful Test career in December 2014.
Virat has also become the first cricketer in the history of the gentlemen’s game to have featured in finals of all major ICC events.
Kohli also has the highest win percentage among all leading Indian Test skippers making him India’s most successful Test captain ever.
