Rocking Star Yash, in collaboration with KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, recently broke his year-and-a-half silence by unveiling the title of his 19th film as “Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups.” This revelation confirmed the much-anticipated collaboration with critically acclaimed director Geetu Mohandas.

The meticulously planned project, marked by unwavering commitment, introduced its title teaser, showcasing grandeur and attention to detail. The teaser offers a glimpse of half-burnt playing cards ominously falling into darkness, merging captivating visuals with an intriguing tune. Yash is presented in a cowboy getup, exuding mystery while puffing on a cigar and wielding a unique firearm, promising an electrifying narrative. The title teaser has become the talk of the town, leaving viewers eager for more clues about what seems to be an international gangster thriller.

The makers are gearing up to commence shooting soon, with the release date set for April 10, 2025, precisely three years after the release of KGF: Chapter 2. This strategic choice aligns with the start of an extended holiday season from April 10, followed by Vishu on April 14 and the Easter weekend with April 17 and 18 as holidays.

Toxic, boasting a vast canvas and significant budgets, is set for a global multilingual release. Yash, Geetu Mohandas, and producer Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions have ambitious plans for Toxic. Despite its roots as a pan-India film, the project envisions a pioneering global release spanning several languages worldwide due to its universal script.

Renowned London-based composer Jeremy Stack, known for his work in Gangs of London, will compose the music for Toxic. The title teaser’s captivating background music has already garnered acclaim, setting the stage for an immersive musical experience.

Shruti Haasan, one of the three prominent leading ladies, is set to star alongside Yash in Toxic. While casting details remain discreet, Shruti Haasan’s involvement adds to the film’s anticipation. She is also said to have lent her voice to the title track, adding an exciting dimension to the project. Further details about the cast and additional female leads are expected to be officially revealed soon.
